Afa Day 1

Afa 09 is over!!! So sad. Well here's my coverage from day 1. Quite short cos I had to rush off at 1pm to go for band prac. Kinda lost track of the time due to queuing about 2 hrs to get into KKnM. But before that, the moment the gates opened, I rushed to get any Good Smile Company 1/7 Scale Saber Lily I could find. And in 10 min, SABER LILY IS MINE!!!! WOO!!! Pics in a seperate post. After that queued up at KKnM for 2 hrs. Met JH, ZY n friends. After queuing for about 40min JH queued with me lol. Talked about how our families accept anime and stuff, as well as where we keep our figurines. Oh ya. There was one otaku nee-chan in front of us. So when JH was talking about when he was crying when watching Clannad(most people do, even guys), she started laughing, trying hard to control it. lol. Took photos of some posters along the way.

End of Year and 50th Post

Yoz, the people who come and don't tag. This is going to be the last post of the year. As well as the 50th post on this blog. So 1 year 50 posts. 2 years 100 posts. Cool. But slow. It's been quite a year. More downs than ups. So many lessons learnt. I really don't want to go through the downs. But finally the debt has been settled. Yay. The only ups were... The anime conventions I went to!!! Of course results, new class, blah blah blah... I haven't recieved my high jump trophy yet... Jumped 1.50m. I won, yet I didn't. Haiz... I haven't talked about it yet hor? So I'll just say it right now.

Wee. I jumped over 1.45m. So did Joseph. Then was 1.50m. I did it!!! On the 3rd try. But he didn't. Lowered to 1.48m. He did it. 1.49m. He did it. 1.50m. He managed to pass!!! Wtf. Not fair. More tries than me. 1.51m. I couldn't. Zzz. He did it. I lost. Oh well. He completed 1.60m in the end. Track & field member... Not fair. Well too bad for me. My first silver high jump trophy. And guess what. They didn't even have a friggin prize presentation. At the end of the year, they told us to collect our trophies. But they didn't have the high jump ones...

This post is short. Lol. Supposed to write alot of things but met a writer's block so dunno. Oh well. Today's Digital Life was the best. And Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas! As White Len says. Or just Christmas Eve. It's just another day. Reminds me of the time that is passing. The closer it gets to the beginning of the school term. Very soon I'll be posting the Melty Blood New Year special screen. Posted a Len's birthday one not long ago. 3 months isn't long. Time is sad. Sadness is time? I like to do these type of things nowadays. Like 'Time is money. Money is time.', 'Nice from far, far from nice.' Basically switching words. It's some fun in a dull life like mine.

Hmm. No time for photoblogging now. Mebbe next time. Got lots of pics to post. Very outdated ones from AFA 08 n my updated manga collection n figurine collection. Another time then.

Shall talk about TPJC then. Ahh. What to say. Very memorable. What about it was memorable... The hour long bus trips resulting in being late almost everyday except the last, the auditorium, the band room. Memorable. Being called up to state the target for the band. As well as being the only flautist for the last few days of the festival. A pity there was only 1 masterclass. Sad. Wanted to get more out of it. Only about 2 hrs of masterclass for so many people. So little was done. Sad. Cos it's very, or kinda weird having only 1 flautist for the concert, it was great the alumni helped out. They showed me I got a long way to go. My 2 months of practising (or sight-reading)

Long time no blog. Not that I care anyway. Got alot of stalkers. And the last tag was by me, more than 2 months ago. Ain't that sad, me?
So many things happened, and I dun wanna bother talking about everyone, so I just say the main events, since I'm just passing my time here anyway.
Thursday got band camp. And like every other year, I'm not really looking foward to it. Got the section competition too. Haiz... Depressing. Some people haven't reply me yet. Die la. Seriously think we are gonna mess up.
AFA 08 was fun. But can only go for 1 day. Took lots of lousy pics, like every other festival I went to. Haiz... Anyway, the morning queue was friggin long, from 1 end to the other end + a couple of loops just to get tickets. Expected it to be crowded but not this crowded. Otakus think alike I guess. Go at the same time. The Maid Saber was SOLD OUT!!! And I know who bought the last 2... About $60+ I think. So all that was left was the Maid Rider. Both from Hollow Ataraxia. Oh ya. At about 11am there was this 5 second man. At first I didn't know. Then they start saying like 4.46 seconds and all those "close" to 5 second timings. I didn't bother to find out the result. Anyway, the 5 second man looked friggin stupid. He looked like some red ****** with the number 5 imprinted on his face. Stupid. Then went on to take photos of figurines. And obviously I did a horrible job again. There was like ayanami rei, Eva Units 00 and 02, Chibi Shana & Ryoko Asakura (Which I took pictures of very horribly). There was also maid saber, which I took even more horribly. Getting depressed over it... Also maid Rin was blurry, Miku was fine, but not that good. The rest nothing much to say. Haiz... Quite a few cosplayers. Some bad, some good, some sloppy, some gives u sore eyes. I didn't take any pics of cosplayers this time round. Went around, looked at merchandise. Bought Evangelion 1.0 character figurines, the whole set. Gonna take photos and upload next time. Also bought manga from Chuangyi. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2 and Neon Genesis Evangelion Vol. 11. Both AFA 08 releases. Then I got the chance to win some stupid prize by throwing something on a board or something. I din noe wat it was so I tikam throw. Then tio the consolation prize. It's some pooh fridge magnet. Wtf. Also queued up 1hr+ just to get in to KKnM. And bought what I went to AFA 08 for. EVANGELION A4 FILE WITH REI AND ASUKA!!! Yay. Expensive...
There was an MBAA machine there too. Yay! Didn't play it cos it's way too popular. My hamachi mbac friends were there. lol. I'm still noob at it. Even after playing it everyday for a month. Haiz... Mebbe the band camp is a good break from mbac. May get better when I come back. Hopefully.

It's strange why I'm not happy with my marks. My family is rather happy about my marks but I'm not... I really don't see the happiness in it. I really don't know why. I should really be rejoicing, but I'm rather sad, or maybe even angry or disappointed. Something's going wrong with me. Maybe it's because I have so few friends. By my definition maybe only have 1 or 2 friends. No one to share the joy with. No one who cares about me. Even if I say my marks, people wouldn't console me, wouldn't congratulate me. Is that why? Or maybe I'm selfish. I see people getting high marks everywhere. I'm not happy. Is that why? Either way, I'm not really happy. Maybe I need to see a psychiatrist. I can't get happy these few days. Well, I got an A2 average. Wow... not too happy. Wonder why...

It's been about 3 weeks since I last blogged. Done so much within these 3 weeks. Almost memorable. First, purchased some $60+ earphones, cos my current ones spoilt. A connection problem apparently. Left earpiece again. Same thing happened to my previous set. Haiz...

Exams. Nothing much to say. But I only activated Shinkai(Bleach) for like the first week. Second week started to slack already. Melty Blood cramming. My best character is currently Ciel. Curry-sempai. Haha. Not that any of you would know anyway. Type-moon is also coming out with a new anime. Can't get enough of their artwork. Shikabane Hime the anime has been released by Gainax already. Lots of pantsu I think. Haha.

This is probrably my first free weekend this year. And probrably my last in a few months. Cos next week got band. Haiz... I feel like writing an emo post about band. I think I can rant about it forever. But I'm not gonna do that now. Mebbe the next post. Hard to believe I was scouted for badminton for DSA for a secondary school, even though I wasn't in the primary school badminton team. And now I'm worse than ever. How sad. Why I joined band? Cos I quit badminton. Now I dun see the difference between the two. Both requires alot of time. Haiz. I'm tired of all this.

Oh ya. So much happened that I forgot to reupdate my Rubik's timings. Now my fastest time is 0:32:84 on the 3X3X3. Haha. Beat that. But I still got a long way to go. I'm irritated. I'm annoyed. Even though I may be good at quite a few things, I'm really pissed I can't be the best at something. It's like so near yet so far. Like the reflection of the moon in the water.

Ok. It's anime time. Most of the below stuff are anime stuff. So dun bother if you dun care about it. Watched School Days and Clannad just after the exams ended. The School Days ending was quite good. I'm pleased. And I'm not purposely trying to be sadistic here. What I was pleased at is that Itou got killed. He really deserved it. To atone for his sins. Actually, from episode 5 I couldn't bear to watch on. I just did for the sake of it. Another reason why I was pleased with the ending was that it ended with what it started with; About Itou noticing this girl, on the train, always reading books. That is called a good ending.

Clannad time. Ya. It's really very late to watch Clannad. I've been like in anime for 1 year now. Yet I only watched Clannad now. So I'm trying to atone for it. Kyoto Animation's art quality never disappoints. The quality of Clannad was one of the best I've seen for Game-turned-anime. Really great story. Dun need to emphasize on this right? You already should have watched it. This is also one of the few times I watched through the entire OP to ED of all 24 episodes. I think I can already memorise the Dango Song. The song's a little grand. If there was such a show, I think it would be the ED theme of Dango Daikazoku. The OP would be from the movie. Clannad the After Story is also out. The second episode was released yesterday. Watched the movie too. The quality left much to be desired. It was obviously done by another company. But I'm glad the voices remained the same. Love them all. At least this harem had a non-loser male lead. That's great. Just started playing Tomoyo After ~ It's a Wonderful Life. Not to be mistaken by the Clannad doujin game Tomoyo Fighter ~ It's an exciting life. Anyway, Tomoyo's voice remains the same. Yay! Also read the manga. Quite a sad story. The Tomoyo After manga of course. Only 4 chapters long. Well, it's a great story. Always had high expectations of Key's works. Just started watching Kanon too. The 2006 version. The 2002 version was only 13 episodes long I think. And the quality is haiz... So ya.

D. Grayman ended. But there will be a continuation maybe 1-3 years from now, at the rate the manga is progressing. Cos if they continued, the anime would have caught up with the manga in 2-3 episodes. That wouldn't do. Zero no Tsukaima also ended. And I missed 3 episodes to the end!!! *emos for a while*. Now they replaced it with Tora Dora. Fine I guess. Neo Angelique also ended. And I missed the ending yet again......... Haiz.......... Not that it was a nice show to begin with. Replaced it with Casshern Sins. Boring. The art isn't that good to me. But. The composer for the BGMs is none other than Kaworu Wada, composer of BGMs for D. Grayman and Inuyasha as well as a few others. Could recognize his works in Casshern Sins. Not sure what the show which replaced D.Grayman is. But seems ok. And you know Okto? The new channel which is channel 8 on Starhub cable and replaced channel i (If you still remember). I think it's gonna replace arts central completely. Give more time to Vasantham. They need it.

Watched the Lucky Star OVA. Wonderful as always. They are even in a game in the OVA. Real good. Also found some MAD of Lucky Star. Gonna post them here sometime.

Oh ya. In Japan news, this foreign guy, who speaks spanish, jumped into the moat of the japanese castle and swam there... naked. Wow. I was lmaoing at it la. Since there was a nude foreign man, I won't put the video or link here. But if you are interested you can ask me, not that you actually would ask me. There was also this case where this guy went around smelling females' armpits and was sentenced to 14 years in jail in Singapore. It's either it hasn't been published or I haven't been reading the newspapers lately. Comments from netizens from other countries say it's a little too strict. Apparently this guy is a little mental. But I can understand his fetish. Ahaha. Sore ja.

No more Franken Fran in this post. Haha. Anyway, this week, I had a total of 4 tests, all of which I did not study. 2 Bio, 1 SS and 1 Chem. I'm sure I failed SS as I totally wrote the wrong points. Haiz... Bio, not sure. But won't get a high score for sure. Haiz... Quite sad now, but not sad. Anyway, school is getting more fun for me. Although I'm not really making any new friends, I use them to indirectly talk to other people, like talking about anime and manga. Can talk non-stop, from H-games to doujins to well, the original... Recently been renting out my manga. Earned $1 so far. I'm renting $1 per book. Quite cheap really. Supposed to get $2 but someone hasn't paid yet. Gonna bring Vol.2-5 of Magister Negi Magi to rent. So that's another $5. Good money. And I have 100+ manga. I think after the exams I need to rearrange my manga cupboard... It's too full now, with 3 Fate Artbooks... I'm probrably gonna take photos of my updated collection...

Was thinking about Franken Fran again. Chapter 2. My fav. So she tore and ate up the guy's intestines. That wasn't too disgusting for me. It was well... Nice. Anyway, when I thought about it again, she was eating his large intestines. Still, I did not have a problem with that. However, I realised that biological filth was in there. So I felt disgusted. Not that I have any problem with *cat, it's just that... Eating it directly from the large intestine, with 10% of the water content there, green-brown substance... A little eww.

These few days had maths remedial after school. And each time stayed back till 1630. Today had a mock test, a test to mock people who lack intelligence. Well, it did its job. But it was good revision. At least now I know how left behind I am. But anyway, also had Bio test today. I totally did not study. Not an inkling. Just used what I remembered from CA2. Wonder if I would fail... Bio is now at the nervous system. And the next chapter is about EYES!!! Yay! I became interested in eyes after reading Chapter 8 of Franken Fran, Beautiful World. I then learnt that the human eye has 3 light reception cells. And the mantis shrimp can see 16. Which means it can see from X-ray all the way to radio waves. Microwaves are low frequency by the way. For an easier way to see the diff, microwaves are thwe size of a human, Infrared light is about the size of a pin point and X-rays are about the size of an atom. Really interesting stuff. Love it. Can't wait for bio to reach that topic. If not, at least the eyes.

Cos I've been coming back late these few days, I've been too lazy doing ERP, and wasting time on the com instead. I'm so dead. Must chiong today and tmr. Tmr also have a Chem test. Fri SS test. So dead. Better do something now.

I'm really addicted to Franken Fran. I think this addiction is bad. I can't wait for the next chapter to be released, but it would be in 1 month's time. I really can't wait. This is bad. Why I like Franken Fran. Cos it's unique. The stories are quite refreshing and some quite funny. It's new to me. And it's not your typical horror style manga. It's a light-hearted one. Fran is a lighthearted person. She' not the cold blooded killer type. She does operations on what she think's is right, but slightly not in the right way...

If I start cramming next week, I wonder what would happen. I've never studied for more than a weekend before an exam(if the exam is on a Monday). So if I start studying next week... Hmm... Not gonna say anything...

Read Type-moon Complex X 1,2 & 3. Not bad I must say. It's a doujin from Crazy Clover Club. Shiro really has no chance against Shiki. It's like your foot against an ant. Eyes of Death Perception rocks.

What to say... Today went to school earlier than usual. Today like got alot of free periods: English lesson, Chinese lesson, RME + 1 period (Teacher was doing TPC with some students). So we were talking about alot of crap. Really alot. This is the 3rd week without assembly already. Probrably cos of the prelims.

Wow. Week one is already over. Actually, this week was quite long. Many things happened. And I forgot many incidents which have happened...

Saturday, went to Malaysia to attend another rich person's wedding. It's a sort of business wedding. Had to cross the causeway twice for rich people's weddings already. And I'm so familiar with these weddings that I know the order of food which comes out...
1. Cold dishes
2. Soup
3. Chicken (Usually roasted)
4. Fish
5. Prawns
6. Mushrooms and Vegetables
7. Buns (Usually those fried ones)
8. Dessert
Common trend. Just nice an 8 course meal. Then there was karaoke. I was petrified. When I first heard that of course. But the uncles and aunties sing very well... In comparison to the Maris+ Talentime held on Teacher's Day...

Today, hmm... Went to Ang Mo Kio for tuition, bought Frontier magazine. The shop which I used to buy the manga magazine I used to buy has been gone for 3 weeks. And the current store which I bought the Frontier magazine from supposed to sell the same magazine, but more expensive. Sadly, the magazines they sell are outdated for like a month or more. Haiz...

Watched Bleach: Diamond Dust Rebellion. It was ok. Not fantastic. That is after overlooking the problems with the sound synchronisation of the Veoh version. The ending was not grand. Hitsugaya up till now doesn't seem powerful to me. Not quite what I expected. Inuyasha movie 3, Swords of an Honourable Ruler's ending was what I called a grand ending. The Bleach ending was like, Soujiro was so easily killed; Hitsugaya just needed Hyorinmaru to coil around Soujiro and Ichigo just needed to use Getsuga Tenshou. Talking about Getsuga Tenshou, Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu seems much more powerful than it lor. Not to mention bakuryuuha. Oh well. Gotta go...

Mooncake Festival

Mooncake Festival is tomorrow. Most likely I would not blog tomorrow, cos morning I have band, afternoon, tuition, night, go to malaysia to sit in for some dinner in place of my grandfather. So full day out. Better sort my band file. Getting too heavy and filled with scores I do not need.

There's this thing about the instrument care kit which is kinda compulsory for all band members. I reject it. Cos it's like $30! And they didn't even say what was in it. Actually, I got all the main things needed to maintain my instrument: Silver cloth($15), Cleaning Cloth($5?), Cleaning Gauze($4?), screwdriver($?), tone hole cleaner($?). I don't see why I really need to buy it. It's $30 you know. + Band Camp fees($20), is a total of $50. My holiday pay is like totally gone if I have to pay it using my own money. $4 is already gone for breakfast by the way. I'll try to persuade them not for me to buy as much as possible.

SAs are just a couple of days away. And here I am starting to watch DearS. Haha. Completed Shakugan no Shana II. There wasn't a moment of doubt as I knew that a Season III is sure to be released. It's so obvious. So many loose ends to tie. The ending of II was a little rushed, but quite ok.

Oh. Tomorrow is the Chemistry test. And I totally forgot about studying for it despite many reminders by classmates. I think I should cram tomorrow. Its testing the Periodic Table. Should not have much problems with that. Must learn to be more humble...

PE was softball again. I totally cannot bat. How sad... Nothing much really happened today. Except alot of jap stuff. This half-korean was like so obsessed with the Song of the Fourteenth(D. Grayman) that he wrote out the lyrics. With the pronounciations in korean too... So he just kept singing and when he forgot the tune, I refused to tell him. haha.

Aquired the D. Grayman OSTs 1 & 2. As well as the ED themes. That was when I realised I can't stand low quality songs in my mp3 player. Seriously. I rather have a 20MB version rather than a 1MB version of song despite the lack of space in my mp3 player. Of course it is not possible to have a 4 min 20MB song. The largest size I have for a 4 min song is about 12-13MB. And if the song is 1MB, either it is corrupt or it is just really short. Talking about MBs, remember the old floppy disks. Wow. Nostalgic. Imagine. Currently 1 floppy drive can't even hold one song. Shows the size of files nowadays. 1 floppy is about 1.4MB by the way.

Woah! Shakugan no Shana II episode 21 rocks sia! I was at the edge of my seat! Oh well, 2 more episodes to go...

Yay! Today is Len's (Melty Blood) birthday. I realised that when I opened Melty Blood today. Special Startup Screen!!! 9 September. What an eventful day... Today is also the new iPod release day i think.

Talking about iPods, my new class T-Shirt design is out. Guess what. It's iNerd... And it uses the famous black person with the white iPod, just that it is just white spectacles... Wow... The shirt colour is orange. I think 1 orange shirt is enough though...

Yesterday, there had been talks about the end of the world. Like I would believe that. They said it was something about this nobel prize winner's theory that when he switches on a facility he created which is 27km in diameter or something, some particles would spin at the speed of light, resulting in the generation of extremely huge amounts of energy. However, this energy may be to large. Should it work, an immense amount of energy can be produced for that place to use. I don't think it would affect us here... Or if worse comes to worse, too much energy is produced, causing a black hole to form. Yeah right. This guy should be imprisoned for endangering humankind. And guess what. The day he is going to switch it on is apparently tomorrow. So people are saying it is Judgement Day. Full of crap. Even if it is so, I don't care. Not because I want to die. But cos the death should be instant if a black hole should occur, though unlikely that such a thing would happen. Black holes can only be created by fallen stars(suns), never by idiots on a planet trying to generate power for their own use. This is crap man. It is a totally uncalled for risk. You are endangering the whole world so that you can produce power that only powers your area. Selfish?! Anyway, this is crap, so don't put too much money on it.

Talking about idiots, there are many guys in anime that are idiots. Gonna talk about that another time.

Yeah! Bought my 3rd Fate artbook, Fate/Complete Material. Yay! Haven't taken a look at it yet. Comics Connection had a 40% off discount for artbooks. Didn't know. I thought the price tag was wrong when I bought Fate/Stay Night Production Illustrations. Sadly, someone bought the Bleach 7th Anniversary Artbook. At first, I did not want to get it as I thought there wasn't any discounts. And today, when there was, I couldn't find it! Sad... Oh ya. The Lenalee figurine costs $24.90. I don't think it's worth it. Even my 2 dollar Asuka's art is better than that. Though it is smaller and detachable...

Today at J8, I saw monks in a Singtel shop. Earlier this year, I saw monks in an IT show buying printers. It really seems out of place. Pardon me for my ignorance.

There was band today. In the end I had to play the piccolo cos Mr PRC didn't want to. Anyone know where to get ear plugs? I wanna plug my right ear. Cos the piece requires a few 4th Octave Cs on the piccolo. And anyone would get deaf. The only earplugs I know are those speedo ones. And they cost about $8... Which is quite expensive. Please tell me if you know of where I can buy earplugs, not for mp3 players. Thanks.

Paradox

After doing the job, I dun feel like spending the money. Lol. Cos its like... If I just buy McDonald's, the money would become from $50 to$44.50. It feels so... so I don't want to spend it. Money is hard to earn. That's the kinda of feeling I get. But I would spend my allowance though, but not my income...

There's a paradox in the Melty Blood Manga. Those who don't read, which means all of you, don't bother reading this. You won't know what I'm talking about. In other words, I'm writing to myself. Anyway, the paradox is that at the intro, they said that Nero and Roa had died. However, Ciel was alive! In Tsukihime, Ciel's life was tied to the survival of Roa, that's how she survived for so long, and is kinda immortal. So if Roa was dead, Ciel shouldn't appear in the Melty Blood manga. That's the paradox. Bye.

Been wanting to address this for a loooong time. Why is it that 90% of the people who once knew me from my previous class or from band and are in the same class as me feel so awkward with me. I'm really not sure myself. But since they behave like that, I tend to behave the same way too. So it's just one vicious cycle. So somehow or rather, we need a middle man to convey messages. But if it is something to do with duties, I will just do it personally. Cos it doesn't require any relationship to be done. Like handing in homework, etc... And it's always like that. Like people from my previous class who are in my class. Some how or rather they seem to avoid me. But it's expected. We all had an argument at one point of time. One of them was last year on my birthday; Another was somewhere before the June hols. So even if its so obvious that I would be able to answer some of their queries, not to mention I sit right next to them, they still ask someone else, who may not be able to answer as well. Same with band people. I think I have an attitude problem...

Anyway, I will be going to work tomorrow. Yeah! My first job, my first income. No treats to anyone, cos no one ever treated me, nor even remembered my birthday, not that you care about a treat coming from me. Not going to treat my section for the section outing(which is sooooo not gonna happen). I'm gonna give some to my parents though. But its too early to say how much I get. Aiming to get more than $60. Can buy 2-3 artbooks. Yeah. So I won't be online most of tomorrow... Until I come back.

Had band today. I was supposed to photocopy a score which I didn't have. I really thought i was in deep shit. So I just desperately tried to search for it in the Library cupboard. And guess what. It was on the stand all along. Wasted 1hour searching. Should have just went back to the band room. But at least I neatly arranged the cupboard. Well the top 2 rows only... Talking about shit, here's a comic strip you can put if you wanna say something is shit. Just edit the words on the card...

Drew somemore Illya today. Tohsaka is a failure, as you can see below. Drew it halfway. Can't get the eyes right. Yeah. She's one of the easiest characters to draw in the Type-moon list of characters. I think I screwed up the hair though...

Watched Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~ Next Season~ OVA part 3. Woohoo. Akane is the protagonist for this one. My waifu. There is more or less a hint that she likes Takayuki. Finally. Hmm. Almost all female characters in KGNE love Takayuki. Well most of them. Suzumiya sisters and Mizuki. Ok. It's only the main female characters.

Yay! Chuang Yi released The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya last week. Yay! In English too! And of course I bought it. Lol. My manga cupboard is really full. I also bought the Fate/Stay Night Production Illustrations Artbook. That's how I got reference to draw the picture above. Tohsaka is really hard to draw. Still can't get the eyes right. The eyes are one of the hardest part to draw if you wanna follow the actual. The Bleach 7th Anniversary Artbook is also out. For quite some time already though. A few weeks. Chem Paper

My goodness. This entire CA is a give away... The English paper was quite easy... The Chinese paper was also a give away. And the Chemistry paper was quite a giveaway too... Though many people did not think so. Ohhh... I think I can finally get an A1 for chem. Yeah.

I totally did not get functions and graphs. But after one hour of studying. I finally did. Anyway close to it... Really want to get an A1. My goal for this CA is 5As or more or ever better, 5A1s. Hopefully my Chinese can get an A1, Chem, Physics (Feel like counting it as 1 subject), A & E Maths. Hopefully...

It's a Silver!

Congrats to the Singapore Women's table tennis team on getting a Silver for the Olympics. Thank you for breaking the Olympic medal drought of 48 years. The last medal was a silver too. Coincidence? Maybe the next medal we would be another 48 years later... That's a long time.

CAs have begun. And I only started studying today. Chemistry. I'm aiming for an A1 in Pure Chemistry. Just need to study the notes well. History has proven that most of the questions which I got wrong were from the notes. So study study study. Had Chinese CA today. I tell you, it's a total give away. The questions are totally easy. Not that I can get a perfect score but anyone with a Chinese standard even slightly higher than mine has the potential for a perfect score. The compre was a little weird. The questions require really short answers for 4 marks. So to play safe I added extra. Hope I can get an A1. Aiming for 5 A1s and above. Really need to study my Geog, SS, both Maths. My maths standard has dropped quite a bit though.

Been playing Tomoyo Fighter abit too much lately. Somemore it's the CAs... Yubari's great. I think I have discovered most of her moves except for 1. Which is the direct slam down with her mace. Doubt anyone who come here knows. lol. Changed the blog song to a Hatsune Miku track. Not sure of it's name. But if you play as miku, you will here this song.

Found a really hilarious EVA doujin. Sadly almost no one who come here watches EVA to know the jokes in there...

Science Physics tests are really simple. On Friday, I went for the test totally unprepared, not to mention its usually hard to pay attention in Physics classes cos the A class is usually ridiculously noisy. Too noisy to pay attention. Anyway, I just went in, totally crapped through the entire paper, finished it in less than half the given time, handed it up and went to recess. Physics lesson was after recess so he marked it, and guess what... I got a 12.5/15. Don't know how people can even get 3.5...

Uploading my Magister Negi Magi manga covers on Animepaper. The papers keep coming. Not really... Too lazy to scan sometimes... Currently have 304 papers.

2 ppl asked me chem qns on msn. But the number of questions were overwhelming. Seriously. Not cos their difficult. Cos there's juz alot. Phew... It's over.

Olympic Medal Finally!!!

WOOOYEEAAAAHHH!!! Singapore finally has been guaranteed either a silver or gold medal by the Singapore's female table tennis team. Yeah. After so many years. Olympics rock. Watched lots of gymnastics lately. Saw falls for the first time. Saw diving less though. Though I missed one where the diver fell flat onto the water and recieved a 0.0...

Today had the English exam. Was quite ok I guess. But missed out on 1 point in the summary after I had completed it. Anyway could not fit in any more words. Had already overshot the word count. So just left it. There's something with the phrasing of the summary question. The reason's for his involvement, his work and his personal sacrifices. This can be seen in 2 ways you know.
1) Reasons for why he was involved, why he wanted to do this work as well as reasons why he made personal sacrifices.
2) Reasons why he was involved, what was his work as well as the personal sacrifices he made.

I went for no. 2 as no.1 did not have enough points. So it would be logical to go with 2. Weird paper. So many typos. 15 printed pages. OMFG. I thought it was ludicrous. It was actually 7. Qn 4b jumped to Qn 7. hah.

As you can see I renovated my blog. Changed it to white to match the pic actually. Posting random lame images by the side once a week, or every post. Depending on the time. Couldn't find a white banner to match. And could not change the hit counter colour. And yay. 600 hits at this point of time. How slow. But still not bad for just 20+ posts. lol...

Been surfing Animepaper recently. First time I really actively participated in an online community. Uploading scans. Uploaded the highest quality scan of FSN Visual Story you can find on the net. Anyway, had a scan rejected cos it was not properly uploaded. earned a total of 154 papers so far. Spent 150 paper on scans of byakuya. And after being restricted form downloading wallpapers, I finally am able to download wallpapers for contributing. Yeah!

Haven't been studying for the CAs at all. zen zen nai. Instead, started playing a doujin game called Tomoyo Fighter ~ It's an Exiting Life ~ It'll be fun if you know the characters at least...

Time passes so quickly... Just this morning I was at NEA. lol. Still remembered everything that happened there... The out of tune singers, the primary school dance, the minister, the food... So fast...Actually nothing much to talk about. About band, I can go get a Librarian Assistant. I only asked my junior though. He doesn't seem to mind. I also recorded the dance done by the primary school with his hp. lol. After all that James gave us souvenirs from his china trip. Some Beijing Olympic Stuff. lol.

These few weeks had quite a lot of band events. If I was both an alumni member and main band member, I would have concerts and competitions every week. Luckily I'm not an alumni member, so I only had 2 concerts. Last Saturday was the paralympics concert. So missed tuition. Screwed up Do-re-mi. Expected for a lousy flautist like me. Only managed to get the score ready on Saturday and had only 3-4 days to practice. For the first time in months I brought my flute back to practice. Only once though. Returned it after the concert. The weather at Orchard Road that day was hot. Yeah. Hot. Was sweating profusely. There was a break in between so enjoyed air-conditioning at Kinokuniya. Luckily it was nearby. Took a look at the manga there and then saw Leonard Tan. Reading some game comic thing. Yuck. I hate game comics. Like WoW types you know. I also hate sports manga, cooking manga, or manga that specialises on certain normal activities. Cos it's just so exaggerated.

This week's assembly was talking about again. I think that's 2 times this year. I think it's overrated. You don't see many people behaving like the guy on stage you know. He's like a retard. Today had very few lessons. Tomorrow I will have even fewer lessons. 1st 2 periods are free periods for tomorrow. Well today, since we can't go back before 12.45 (actually i juz wanted to stay back for fun). Then during that period, the shorty went around asking people who could solve the cube in 50secs. If the person did, he would pay form $2-5. If not the person would have to treat him to a drink. lol. Then he go ask some zhai kia but then he only managed to get after 1min. So the shorty go ask him to go back home and practice then come back tomorrow for the 'exam' lol. Anyway, my SS test got 9/16. lol. 1 mark pass only. Cos I didn't manage to finish the last qn. The first 2 questions only lost 3-4 marks. So not bad liao la. Considering how bad I am at Humanities subjects. Monday dissected a porcine heart. I showed a bit of my sadistic side. Lol. Since someone, with my support, minced up the heart, I grabbed some of it with my plastic glove, and overturned it. So it became a bag of porcine heart. Cool.

Yeah. I finally broke the 40sec barrier of my rubik's cube timing. 0:39:56. Finally. Now I can do it alot faster. My average is mostly under 1min now. Yeah. My newest 5X5X5 timing is now 7:46:03. Yeah. About 10sec slower than my 4X4X4 timing. I haven't been playing with the 4X4X4 now... One of my juniors have been smsing me abt where to get rubik's cubes for some other junior's birthday. lol

Finished reading many of Kano Yasuhiro's work's. MX0, Pretty Face, MP0(the prelude of MX0), She Monkey as well as Snow in the Dark. The last three were all one-shot manga. I think the worst was Snow in the Dark. It was like olden Literature. Wonder how he did that in Japanese. Pretty Face is my favourite I think. Followed by MX0. There also was this small collaboration between Mizuki Kawashita(One of my favourite mangaka, author of Ichigo 100%) and him on Shonen Jump. Argh. I can't find the pic. Oh here it is.

Old Debts Crawling Back to Me

My long forgotten, not really, about 1 month and 6 month debts are coming back to me. I gotta come up with a library catalogue, which was actually due end of June, and I've got no idea how to do it!!! And I'm all alone cos the other librarian got demoted... Alumni stuff are piling up at the library table which was just shifted yesterday. I'm not responsible for alumni stuff you know. I've got no idea how to make that pile look nice... I'm getting lousy at blogging, cos I haven't been blogging. Anyway, today played softball for PE. Cool. Wanted to do that for quite a while, though I prefer floorball, which I am the best in class at. Who cares what I'm good at though. Also about the debts, I missed 2 tuitions last Sunday due to the Botanic Gardens performance, and I feel like I'm in deep trouble for not telling them. Maybe I'm just thinking too much. Haven't paid my tuition fees for one of the though, it's already the 4th week...

The Botanic Gardens performance, to me, wasn't that good. Quite a few mishaps... Lack of chairs was the big thing for me. So ended up in the 3rd row. So must be vigilant for ABBA Gold. So stood up at the second one instead of the 3rd. Made quite a few mistakes though. Not that anyone could hear. I'm lousy at the flute. In a solo recently, I could hear how poor I was. So soft. I don't really care nowadays. I'm not that enthu any longer. But I will bring back my flute the moment the SYF pieces are given out, practice like mad, and come to next practice like I'm damn pro. ahaha. Practice has proven useful from the last SYF. So gonna do the same thing. But exams are a problem though. 3rd week of august. Not much time left...

Solved a 5X5X5 cube after the botanical gardens performance on Sunday. My father bought it for me. And I didn't need any formulas. Yeah. Now the person who called me noob had nothing to say. Haha. Somemore dare to say he zhai. Not that I care though. Don't really care about much nowadays. So I'm just gonna write my fastest times here...

Why is the cosplay competitions always on Sunday!!!!!!!!!! And I always have to miss is due to my Sunday tuitions... Anyway, I went to the Cosfest 2008 on Saturday. Lol. Guess what. I only arrived there 10mins before the official closing time. chikushou. Anyway, when I arrived, some guys where singing Bouken Desho Desho?(Haruhi OP theme) as well as Motteke Sailor Fuku(Lucky Star OP theme) and some other songs which I didn't recognise. Wonder who won the Anime karaoke contest though. Could have been the guys on stage. Anyway, I bought the Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel, which made me broke. Really broke. But it was great man. Mebbe I bring it to school tomorrow for those who wanna look. Nah. It's super heavy. Quite value for money. Though it's all in Japanese but I'm fine with it. That's why the visual of the visual novel comes in... High quality pics... But the censorship takes up a wider area than the actual game... Or did people edit the game. Dunno. Bad days sia. Yesterday I accidentally did an extra 15 push-ups, which means I did 55 push-ups at one shot, 2 times and more than the average band member. And even worse, I was selected for the ... Haiz... Cos I did not point out any other section mate. Great values they teach in band eh. Sabotage, involuntary arrest, and a whole lot of sacarsm. I personally feel that the band's standard is dropping too. More towards the discipline side. Although I'm not doing anything about it. I'm the type who only can criticise but is unable to do anything about it myself. Sad. I also wish to, but I don't know how.

Today. Did 2.4km run for P.E. This time they stopped just after the primary school gate. So my timing was 11.26 mins. Faster, cos did not have to run up slopes. But was feeling real sick after that. Anyways, the main point of the bad day was after school. Actually it was bad because I thought too much... Cos I was the Geog rep, after school I had to go to the staff room to get a namelist for the WS. Then PauLeong caught me cos my hair was too long. I expected to be caught but not by him though. Anyway, I was prepared. But the surprising thing was he was very very irrational. The conversation goes like this...

Toys & Comics Convention

Long time no blog. Again. I think I'm juz gonna blog once a week. So u dun have to check back that often, though it's nice to see the visitor numbers go up... If I update more frequently I will notify on msn.

For the past week during recess, I have been quite busy. So if I didn't spend much time with you it's not cos I'm avoiding you or anything. Main reason was cos I did not want to get scolded again... So most of this week I was busy printing scores, binding scores, collating and other stuff during recess. At least nothing went wrong during band prac. Phew...

Mars Youth day... lol. I just spent quite a bit of time in class doing the Rubik's cubes, both 4X4X4 and 3X3X3. Btw, I already have a 4X4X4 cube. lol. Not that smooth though. I ate the prizes which were supposed to be given to those who spun the wheel, but only 1 or 2 people came at first. Then later on, more people came. We made less than $50 I think. lol. And I only bought some mamee monster and milo dinosaur. Nothing else though...

Today woke up late. Cos I thought today was a normal day, without any appointments. So that was what I dreamt about. So I overslept a little. So I was late. lol. Then did drills. Spoiling my voice... Not that it sounds nice anyway. Then was sectionals. Did Sway, Home and Stand up for Singapore. And balanced the stick again. lol. I seem to have a talent for balancing objects. Then was full band. Mr Chiang was angry again. Nvm. Can't quite remember what happened after that. All I know is that I did not have to do any other Librarian stuff.

After that went to J8 for lunch. Had McDonald's. Ronald McDonald is one of the creepiest mascots in the world. I'll show you pics of his exploits another day. Then I ate my lunch at the bus interchange. Then this cleaner comes spraying the floor and my food almost got wet... Finished eating then went to tuition. Then did some artistic one-word topic essays. For the first 30min or so, my paper was empty. Then it began to fill up rather quickly. My original topic was actually smoke. But I chose airport in the end. And the word airport would only come up at the beginning and the end of the essay. Yeah. My artistic composition style. I love writing emotional stories. But not inspired by manga though... Although I did some manga inspired compo a while back... Then it was time to go to the Toys & Comics convention. Yeah! My weekends were usually very busy, but I managed to squeeze it in. Although Sunday would be better (cos there's anime Cosplay), but I have tuition then, so only Saturday would suffice. While at the MRt Station, these ladies kept coming to me for donations. And when I didn't, they cursed me. wtf. And they said it was for some children... Then met Alvin and we were on our way. Citylink is really very long. lol. Then arrived there. Finally managed to get Love Hina Volume 1 & 5. Finally, my Love Hina collection is complete. That means it's my 3rd completed manga series. Then walked around. Saw this great doujin. Colleteral Damage. Very well drawn. Even had Kyonko. haha. After that went to see asiasoft at tropics atrium. Quite alot of people. Theme: Audition. Had a competition going on there. Pros. There was even a dance there. lol. Met up with some of Alvin's friends there. Then went to KFC. Had another coke. Second coke in a day... Then I went back to the convention. Played Guitar Hero on Wii. I played Knight of Cydonia. At first I looked damn pro. But then I came to the part where I always screwed up. And I failed the song. lol. Should have played Cliffs of Dover. Mistake mistake mistake... Then I went to the Rubik's section. They can do it real fast. 18secs, 22secs. And the cubes were real smooth. You could play it like a ball man. Smoooth. After that went back with Alvin. I'm super tired now. lol. Brain fatigue. Bye...

Ba(n)d Week

This week was the worst week for band sia. Got scolded(not exactly) 4(?) times by Mr. Chiang!? First was the announcements. Then I dunno why but I forget things very fast... So did not make the announcement properly. Then I get kena by Mr Chiang in front of the band... That was on Wednesday. Today, I got scolded 3 times. First was the thing I had to print. I said I was busy and by the next Wednesday practice I should have it ready. Then he come say me that I should have printed it over the past few days, but I really wasn't free! Then he come kena me in front of the whole band about the missing miyazawa flute. It's not my fault sia. But I didn't really care, cos I know I had nothing to do with it. But too bad, I was the current in charge for the flute section. So he come say I'm in deep shit and it's the second flute I lost. ... This time I specially did not bring the flute back and left it in the band store. And it just simply became all my fault. Then in the end it was in the alumni cupboard. Was seriously pissed off. Then we play Rumble on the High Plains. Then Mr Chiang come ask me who playing piccolo. I really should just have kept quite. I seriously gotta change my habit of shooting my mouth off without thinking, which usually came just 1 or 2 seconds later. But anyway, it was too late. I go say the piccolo in the band store got no mouthpiece. At that point I totally forgot that Terence had the piccolo. But I didn't know that both mouthpieces was in it. So then he come kena me yet again in front of the whole band. Wow. 2 times in a day. I was even more pissed off. But of course I did not show any signs of it. In fact, I think I looked like I didn't care. None of it was my fault. But since I'm the in-charge, I had to be responsible. So be it. And after SMSing a few people, I suddenly dawned upon the realisation that Terence had the piccolo. So I took my time going back, while waiting for a reply from someone. And then got kena again saying that I should be more aware of what is happening in my section in front of the whole band. I don't know how I am supposed to last 1 more year in the band. Sigh*

End of Holidays

Woah. Long time no post. Cos too busy reading manga. haha. Really deserted everything else. So haven't been blogging nor going to people's blogs. Gotta catch up. Been reading School Rumble recently. The first 50 chapters were a bore. But it just went uphill after that. Slowly I began laughing. Yeah. But nothing compared to Ichigo 100% though. But I liked it. It just seems like a different genre.

Haven't been able to walk properly due to the fall. lol. Fell on Sunday. Hurt real bad. But I'm almost fine now...

This holiday has had many animanga accomplishments. Yeah. Firstly, I finally completed reading the whole Love Hina manga series. Previously, I did not read Vol. 1 & 5. So I read it online. Yeah. Then was Ichigo 100%. The amazing series which I completed in 3days+1hour. Yeah. (Read the remaining omake in 1 hour before I went to school. Was late as a result. But it's the holidays, so who cares!) Then was School Rumble. Finally caught up with it. 277 chapters in 5 days? Not bad. Kinda liked the Harima-Yakumo pair, even though it only partially happened. (Those who are against it can tag...) Finally, after 9 months, I finally COMPLETED MY CHOBITS COLLECTION!!! Yeah!!!!! Though it cost more than I expected, about $73-5, it was worth it. Now I finally have 2 completed manga series in my cabinet. Also bought the 3rd Volume of World Embryo today. And Negi hasn't been released for the last 9 months(?) That's taking way too long. It's like telling us to read online if we can't wait you know. Inuyasha has finally ended. 558 chapters. Congratulations for those who have followed the series. You have an amazing perseverence. Like me. Haha. I don't really feel like talking about anything else. Maybe another day...

Today, more than half the school blacked-out. Except the band room... So I spent 9-12 sitting outside the mac lab. And I was playing the Rubik's cube to pass the time. Then at 10, this guy came up to me and asked whether the class started. I said no. Didn't say it was cos of the black-out. Then he kept on talking to me. In a friendly way. And so he just kept talking and talking to me, while I just kept solving the Rubik's Cube again and again. Then he asked me about me and the Rubik's cube. So I just gave 1-2 word answers. Then the power was back on again. It was about 10.30 I think. Then we went in, switched on the mac. Then the power went off again. -_-" Whatever. So just went out, tried the new technique Ray taught me on the Rubik's cube, and the guy continued talking to me. Apparently, he was signing up for the Ironkid Biathlon. Not that it's my business though. Then since I was really really bored solving the cube for the 30th time, I decided to teach him how to play. lol. He was not very good at it. Most people can't get the basic step right though. Anyways, Robin said that cos the school didn't pay the power bills, so the power got cut off. lol. Waste my time. At 12 we were dismissed. Then I went to the band room to wait for WL. Waited there for really long. About 40 min. Then he came with his newly bought $1400 flute. I tried it. It wasn't very good. But it was shiny. Haha. That was when I realised that the alumni had taken the miyazawa flute. Then WL wanted to play a flute duet with me. lol. But all the flutes in the band room were out of order. So I had a hard time trying to play.

After all that we went to J8. I then ate McDonald's with WL. Talking about McDonalds, Ronald McDonald is one of the creepiest mascots in the world. After McDonalds, we went to get the Evangelion 1.0: You are (not) alone Collectors Edition. I could not get it cos I was under 16. lol. After we got it, we spent an awfully long time in Comics Connection, looking at manga. Then went to Action City to look at the 2 X 2 cubes. No price indicated. Wanted to get one for my sister for her upcoming birthday. haha. Came back home and completed Lucky Star. So now I can focus on the School Rumble manga. Reading abit of Shin Angyo Sando too. It's a korean manga apparently.

What are Wapanese. Wapanese are Caucasians who are overly obsessed with Japan, it's culture as well as (last but not least) anime and manga. If I was an ang moh, I would be a wapanese... Scary. Here's the Urban Dictionary definition of wapanese... Some things I do not agree... I do not drink Pocari Sweat. haha. Luckily this applies to ang mohs. But at least I set foot on Japanese grounds before, do not cosplay, do not think that my country is anyway inferior. Singapore is great. No war, no droughts, no floods (at least not that serious), no food shortage (as a consumer), great government with little corruption. Yeah. But I'm not exactly patriotic... I personally do not like wapanese either. Cos they're ang moh. And never stepped into Japan and then think they are so great. I also don't think the Japanese really like wapanese... Maybe those anime companies like them cos the sell lots to them. But its like the PRCs coming to Singapore. I feel that would be how I would feel about wapanese if I was a Japanese. But I'm not. So this is just my personal opinion and it holds no salt.

Dun really like to talk about what's happening around me, cos I'm stuck in the house all day. But I'm not bored. But blogging about what I have done will be boring. Here's how it goes. Today I woke up at 9.30am. Solved the cube twice, 1 with my specs on, one without (Cos I just woke up)... Then went down and ate 2 'tao sar pia'. Continued playing with the cube. Used the com and searched for Levan Polkka again. Love that song. Forgot what I did after that. Ah. Did some E Maths. Kinematics. Learning it in Physics anyway, so nothing new. Then solved the cube again a couple of times. Broke my personal record and set a new one of 1min 45secs. Had chicken rice. Continued work. Used the com again. Scanned some scores. 1 score with 5 pages. It's hard to scan from a book you know. Searched for more Hatsune Miku, and read Chapter 69 of Ai Kora. ooo. 69. Oh ya. Watched Haruhi Live. The concert. A bit of criticism. Aya's singing was quite off. The vibrato was a bit too much. And she seemed flat (as in tone). Anyways she's so chio. Haha. Watched the anime version of God Knows... then watched the live version of God Knows... then Bouken Desho Desho?, then COOL EDITION (live version too). If you don't remember a song called COOL EDITION in the anime, it's from the Ryoko Asakura Image Album. It's not bad. If you want it, you can ask it from me, but get ready something in return. Cos fair trade (Fullmetal Alchemist) haha. I just love the Lucky Star Version of Levan Polkka. Love the beginning, the part where they switch clothes to Rin, Shana, Mikuru, and another one is from To Heart I think. The door slamming and the rotating lips was cool too. Leaving you with the video... Changed the blog song to the Lucky Star version of Levan Polkka (not exactly... That's the closest I could get). My ringtone is the Hatsune Miku version of Levan Polkka. Long time no blog. Anyway I've decided to do photoblogging for the first time. And I'm very lousy at it. First, my manga collection. WOOOOOO!!!!! Total of 8 series(seems quite little): Chobits, Chrono Crusade, Inuyasha, Love Hina, Magister Negi Magi, Neon Genesis Evangelion, World Embryo and some chinese manga. There's a total of 96 tankoubon(books). Hmmm. If I get the last 4 volumes of Chobits I'm missing, it would be 100. Cool

Yesterday I went to the Annual Bookfair. Yeah. Of course the only reason why I wanted to go there was the anime and manga part of it you know. Then some cosplayers(the only ones I saw that day) cosplaying Shana and Haruhi. The Shana cosplayer has really dry hair. Yucky. Not sure if I'm starting to like cosplay. Dun think so though. Just like to see cosplay in real life. Dunno what I'm saying anymore.

Bought a new Rubik's Cube cos my father broke the old one... And now I can solve it without looking at any formula sheets. Yeah! Fastest time is 1 min 55 secs. Got the cube for $5. It's getting rough. Should have gotten the $8 one.

Sadly, this is the only anime related thing I bought. I saw Excalibur with Avalon(Fate/Stay Night) there. It cost $15, which I spent on a totally useless thing. Dunno what to say. This accessory cos $2. Quite expensive...

And I have completed my first photoblogging thing. I'm so lousy at it. This may be the last time. Anyone wants to got the the Bookfair with me? It's until this Sunday. I wanna go see cosplay and on the way back from there, buy Chobits and maybe search for Ichigo 100% (Viz Media published) manga at Orchard. Dun have to follow me then though. I feel like writing my own novel... Maybe just a normal short story, without the influence of any exam or stuff. Of course I wouldn't write all those fantasy crap that ang mohs give. In all my stories I always write about normal life, the slice of life genre you know. Cos maybe its easier for me to lie about it, like I lie about my past. I take experiences from place to place, then put it together to make a perfect story, often very convincing, since they are all real life experiences. Although i don't do that now, cos it's lost all meaning in doing so. I think I wanna try using chim words like one of my previous posts I guess. When I'm done I may just post it here...

Quite a fruitless day today is I guess. Felt exceptionally tired this morning... Seems like a lack of sleep although I slept at 11pm and got up at about 9 this morning. Solved the rubik's cube again before heading down to have my breakfast. Just a bun though. Used the com, played dumb games. Stopped at about 11. Decided to do my Chinese hw. Too distracted by music than to actually listen to it. Was still thinking about Ichigo 100% though. Shan't say more. If it was about writing the feelings I had about the articles for the Chinese projects, I would have done better in English. I wonder if next time there would be English holiday homework like this. Since I probably would have plenty of time, I may possibly ace it and get a head-start in class when school reopens due to the marks involved. Dunno why these few days just seem like writing. I think I've been influenced by Ichigo again. That manga really leaves a strong aftertaste. So I've been doing the Chinese project until about 4pm. But most of the time, I was doing other irrelevant things. Surprisingly, none of that was reading manga, which I would do most often. That's cos the only manga i want to read now is Ichigo, despite already finishing that. I gotta stop saying that all the time. After that went to visit manga forums.

Talking about forums, there's this guy who made a very detailed character study about the ending of Ichigo 100%, which some people hate and some people like. It's really interesting, despite being about 3500 words long. Apparently it was done by a high school graduate. If I could write like him now, wonder how I would write in the future. Omg. It makes me think that my dream is to be a writer. Half-influenced by Ichigo again. Cos I do enjoy writing, and doing conflict studies. But I'm still too half-baked to do it well. Another thing I read in another forum. How do you keep your manga. Omg. I totally forgot about it. Then I noticed my Chobits collection seem a bit more yellow. So thirsty hippos eh. I read an article somewhere, which was used as a comprehension passage (I think) talking about yellowing paper. If I remember correctly, the paper they use now yellow because it is acidic. That's an idiotic improvement. It's fine if you want to use those low grade paper newspapers to make things cheap. But not on manga (or any other book). That would make things so much easier for us manga buyers. Ahh. The pleasure of holding the Tankoubon in your hands is great.

Ichigo 100%

That is the best manga I've ever read. Better than Chobits too, even though its hard to admit, but its a shoo-in for me. I spent 4 days and this morning, before I went to IT lessons, to finish it. This morning I just read the omake though. I'm re-reading it again cos its simply so great. Whoever who starts reading manga should read it. Even though there are of course ecchi scenes, I don't really mind not having them but it would then change the entire feel quite a bit (especially Satsuki scenes). Gotta thank CH for kinda reminding me about it. And now, I'm so desperate to get the hardcopy in my hands that I even requested it in the Chuang Yi (Singapore's manga publisher) website, along with requests for republishing all the volumes of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Love Hina I'm missing. But buying 19 volumes at one go, which would not happen, would cost about $161, assuming one volume is about $8.50. Really really hope they would satisfy my request... Now I truly know the pleasure of having the hardcopy in your hands. Didn't get much sleep cos of it. Spent the whole night rolling around and thinking about it. Even had a dream that all 19 volumes were at Comics Connection, top left of the Chuang Yi section, with English translation as well as the Chinese translation, which they had in the first place, plus merchandise. What a great dream. haha. I know my dreams are weird. I was quite sad when I woke up though, cos they only had volume 1, 2 & 19 in reality, and in Chinese (not that I'm against chinese but the translation of names would sound real weird...

This morning I missed band. Ohoho. First time I missed band intentionally. Not gonna hide it from anyone. Band starts at 9 while the IT lesson starts at 10. At first I got scolded by a certain teacher about being 25min late. Even told me to run. I ran away instead after seeing that they were doing drills. I don't want to be selfish and stink up the Com Lab if I had went for band and then gone to the lab. But I was selfish that I did not go to band. But to me, 1 person less was just insignificant to me. Anyway what difference would it make even if I was there? No point... I wonder what happened in band today though. Maybe I shouldn't find out...

IT course we did programming, cool. But then it ended at around 1, when it was actually supposed to end at 4. Not value for money. Created a BMI programme thing. After that went to J8 and ate Cafe Cartel with Keith. First time eating there. Haha. After that just walked around. Didn't buy anything cos the only thing I wanna buy is Ichigo 100%. Haha. Never so obsessed over an anime or manga series before...

The day was over in a flash though. It just seemed like nothing much happened, even though I woke up at 8. Haiz... The second day of the school holidays is already holiday. Better grasp it well, otherwise I would end up like Ichigo 100%, time just passed so quickly, middle school to high school to their future...

The denouement of the first semester is finally over. How time flies. Very soon I would be writing 'it's already the end of the year. How time flies...' It's rather surprising that I got 5th in class. In a class whose standard is significantly higher(or so it seems) then my class last year. Umm. I feel that the biannual post-exam activities is a full display of the immaturity, stupidity, as well as self-centeredness of students. For e.g. if you just shut up for 7 more minutes, you would have unrestricted speech as well as unlimited talk time without being scrutinized by any of the teachers at all. It just works this simply. Keep quiet for that period of time and you would be praised, released on time, if not earlier, and you would have to spend less time in that sticky, hot and humid environment crammed with smelly, sweaty students. So simple yet so hard. And as for the I&E. The winner actually got jeered. I hope those who jeered would continue jeering people when they grow up and out into the real world. I would be interested to see what would happen to them. The suggestion for the 'Treasure Hunt'. I didn't like it very much. Apart from my personal reasons like not wanting to be in groups, there would not be able to have sufficient manpower to monitor the event. Just think. Why does only 1 or 2 teachers come to do the post-exam activities for each level. Cos the rest are helping with your report books and writing testimonials. Can't believe it got 3rd. The judges are really open-minded. The conveyor belt is a disaster, the exchange programmes, which seem to be for a noble cause, like etiquette in front of members of the opposite sex and guess what. They missed out different races. This shows that it's obviously just like a Potemkin Village. It just reflects on their 'despo-ness' and childishness.

There were also suggestions on how morning assembly was very long due to the preaching of 'clock time' by a certain Mr K. I'm not against those suggestions. In fact, this Mr K is actually contradicting himself. I was laughing away when he started contradicting himself when it was already about 8.10 and there he was telling us to work on 'clock time' and not on 'event time'. For the benefit of those who still do not understand what the contradiction is, Mr K was working on 'event time'. Get the link?..

This is usually how I would write something ok. Cos you all dun seem to like this way of writing, I just show you an example lor. lol.

Yessshh! I finally managed to solve a rubik's cube. Not by myself though. haha. Too many steps to memorise. So I juz remember the first half of the steps. Mebbe I blog the rest tomorrow. Cos tmr got band. Then mebbe got more to write. Au revoir.

Chye told me today that he was my neighbour. Surprise. He's really a good teacher. Apparently he's leaving next term. So sad. A new teacher is coming in. She's female. What a weird way to phrase me sentence. When I use 'she', it's obviously female. I'm not gonna talk about my results, cos apparently none of you actually care what marks I get, and I don't want you to compare marks with me, and get all high and mighty if you score better than me, or get all depressed and emo and start hating me if you get lower than me. The highest for A Maths in my class is none other than the guy I last sat next to, whom I haven't been talking to, at all. Apparently 'Archimedes is shining down on him'. Good for you.

I recently shifted all my personal folder into the D:/ drive, which I totally forgot about. Now my C:/ drive has 20GB+ of space, which means my folder takes up 20GB+ of space. Sigh*(haha) So now I'm gonna try installing RA2, the game which I have been playing for 7 years. Brutal enemies are quite easy when the terrain you are on is very defensive and to your advantage. Just need a few steps to defeat them though. Defend (Quickly build up your defences, air and land), send a few prism tanks (Allied only), I usually use 3. It's good enough. Finally, destroy. Hahahaha.

Happy Mother's Day

Today is Happy Mother's Day. This is the 2nd time I have blogged about Mother's Day. Feels so nostalgic. So I gave my mother a bookmark. A Christian bookmark. Even though I'm very much atheist, I still went into a Christian shop, bought a Christian bookmark, and gave it to my mother, cos she's a Christian. I have nothing against having a god or any other religion. All I want is substantial evidence. Cos its all not convincing enough. The local churches are very much hilarious. People rush to go there, but can't wait to get out. The church looks forward to offerings in such a direct manner. Sermons actually get repeated. Why? Cos new stuff hasn't been added for the past 2000 years. This applies to all churches though. So the sermons get repeated in different ways, twisted, manipulated, trying their best for the people to understand. I'm very fair about these issues though. I won't base it on biased accounts or add in additional imaginary information just to prove that religion is false. Oh my. I'm digressing from the Mother's Day theme. By the way, I finally bought a book called God is not Great. I'm just started reading it and it is very very 'chim'. I think I may need a translator even though the book is in English. (No I don't.)

Today went to church and got these kids to do some performance. I then realised 'Head & Shoulders, Knees and Toes' is a very hypnotic song. Especially when they keep repeating, "knees and toes, knees and toes, knees and toes" really quickly. I have been really slow the past few days. The worship seemed ridiculously long today(personal opinion) and I gave a 5-cent offering. I was saving up to by a mother's day present. And my 4 volumes of Chobits which I'm gonna ask Jonathan to help me get from Kinokuniya. (Now I can only afford 3 volumes.) After that went for a 'quickie'(lunch) and went to maths tuition. After tuition went to J8. The F1 game was not loaded but i knew how to make it load so I played a couple of rounds. Even had rainy seasons to drive in as well as foggy. After that just walked around. I think the new game up for the Sony thing is called Devil may Cry. Bought the bookmark after that then went for Chemistry tuition. After tuition went to play the F1 game again which was not loaded again. The idiot boys were breathing down my neck again. Just ignored them. Went back home, had dinner, bathed then blogged. Nah...

Exams Over

So the exams are officially over for me... At least. Actually it didn't matter whether it ended today. Cos the past few days (ever since the Bio paper ended... Yes, I slacked off for Chem) I haven't been studying very much. Been playing Frets on Fire. Finally got God Knows... sung by Aya Hirano aka. Suzumiya Haruhi. Yay. Kept playing that song but only got 4 stars for all difficulties. :( Oh. Obviously he's talking about himself. Oh how indirect...

I am still settling down in my class. Its already 5 months into the year. Haiz... Firstly, I don't have a single friend in my class. Yet.. Ever... There are just people I don't like (Not hate. I won't hate someone if he does not intentionally do something to make me hate him), people I know better, and people I am on better terms with, but none I can call a friend. My msn does not have a single contact from my current class except for me and some other guy from last year whom I have a reason to hate. But I know its just me... I've shut the window of my heart out from the people in this class (Yes... I'm talking like someone). Someone there keeps calling me emo, when I'm not feeling emo at all.Everytime he sees me he calls me emo. Then asks other people "hey, he emo right?" Then I usually ignore almost everyone. Then he come say "Wah. Dao me again ah." Then people will say. "Aiya he always liddat one lah." I don't really care though. A class without friends. What I have learnt in a Class Without Friends(CWF). You must be very independent (Pay attention in class!). Remember to bring your own stuff. Yah. That's a about it. The bad points I mean. Good Points. Spend more time paying attention rather than talking. Learn to be independent. Get into less trouble (getting linked with trouble-makers). Be more independent. Yessh. Enough about friends for now...

Gotta find time to produce the LIBRARY CATALOGUE!!! Wonder what to do... Let me try reciting what we have in there... With Heart and Voice, Christmas Festival... My memory is very poor. I also don't really want to be the SL. But there isn't anyone who can be right? This is called no choice. chikushou...

Today was rather fun I guess. I spent quite some time drawing a NERV logo on my chinese textbook. When I went back, I drew even more. I spent about 1 hr 15 mins to draw the ones I did at home. I drew them at the back of my timetable. The new SEELE logo is not yet complete. Hope you will take a look at them.

First lesson was Bio. We went through our TYS with Amy. Haha. Then was English. It's always fun. The word could be used for almost every sentence of one of the worksheets the teacher gave us. Geography was rather boring I guess. I had lots for Recess. Haha. Guess I shouldn't have spent so much. Bought some mamee monster from CS outside the SRC. They are like opening a business liddat lor. Business-minded marists. After that was Chemistry lessons. Yay! I did the chemical calculations really quickly. Just kept writing non-stop. The Greg was like competing with me. Cos I taught him how to memorise the first 20 elements of the Periodic Table real quickly. But he was still slower than me. And of course I made some careless mistakes. But we corrected each other. So it was kind of a win-win situation. After that was Chinese, when I finished the letter writing in 1 period. The teacher practically wrote 75% of the whole letter on the board. So we could do it quite quickly. I finished fast so I decided to draw the old NERV logo on my Chinese textbook. I've already drawn the fallen angel one on the textbook (Bottom right picture. 'Fallen angel' is not the exact term, its Sammael. I guess its rather forbidden. Looks cool anyways.) After that was lunch break, had Nasi Lemak... Again. This is the 4th serving of Nasi Lemak I've had within 7 days. haha. Had some milo. Then some guys in my class were discussing anime. So a few of them watched NGE, Chobits, only one watched Elfen Lied. Yeah. I watch it too. It almost matches the controversy of NGE. Which anime gets a cute girl to get killed within the 1st 8 mins of the 1st episode? Elfen Lied. When I first watched it, it was shocking. Never expected something like that to happen. So its a good show.Muahaha. After Lunch Break was maths. I failed my quiz by 0.5 marks again. Haiz... After that went back home. Started drawing my EVA stuff at about 1845. Finished at about 8pm. Tomorrow is Learning Journey. Don't have to go band. Xink just called me saying that I needed to get ready stuff. Too bad I'm not going. He said he could not contact any of the other Librarians. What a coincidence...

Yesterday was Easter, and I was all emo about going to church. Had 2 packets of Nasi Lemak, 1 stick of otah and a couple of scoops of chicken rice. Went to Ang Moh Kio to top up my phone and for tution...(Kinda glad the concert is on a Tuesday so I won't miss tuition... Or the trouble caused by missing tuition.) After tuition, went to J8. Played guitar hero again. The battery ran out!!! Ahahaha. I was just beginning the battle too. Went to tuition. Didn't do homework again. After tuition played guitar hero again. They fixed it!!! Played some medium songs. Some of the were BORING!!! The medium battle was finally unlocked and tried it. I was doing better than I had expected, but did not even get a chance to retaliate against Lou. Oh well. Also played the Bleach PSP game. Byakuya really is the most powerful character I guess. Easily defeated many other characters. Cool.

Today, the 1st lesson was chemistry practical. Quite fun. Its about acids. Mainly HCl. Love balancing equations. After that was maths. Then was SS. Then was recess. Then was Chinese. I drew some Evangelion thing on my Chinese textbook. Looks real cool. Assembly was about bullying. This group came and acted. Stupid people laughed at the wrong time. The discipline of the school is dropping. I don't really care. As long as it still looks good when I apply for a job. After that we gotta do I & E. Played money talk. Its a really ill-planned game made in Singapore and is promoting insurances of NTUC income. There seemed to be missing pieces. 3 pieces for 6 players?! Dun really feel like blogging now...

Today, Dr Goh visited the band for the choral part in Hymn to the Sun. I think I will get a sore throat from that. Haiz... The new tuner ain't that good. Limited range, only can play an A note. Metronome isn't very user friendly. Never mind. Sectionals was boring as usual... Pumped one of them from crossing their legs. They never learn I guess. I don't think I should hold sectionals anymore. It's sickening and tiring. They never learn. It's no longer what it used to be...

After that went to tution. Actually Lucas asked me to join them for soccer after band. But I got tuition anyways. So I rejected them yet again. I've been rejecting them for a few times now. Even if I did not have tuition I may still not join them... Cos I don't wanna spoil and dirty my shoe. Haha. I think the English tuition is the most fun part of my entire week. Much more fun than band. Cos we get to talk about so many different things. Maybe I just don't have as much fun times as you nowadays. Next week Raj's getting us Pizza Hut! Yay! So I'm gonna get a lighter lunch after band. After tuition went to Comics Connection. Its been almost 6 months since the last Mahou Sensei Negima manga came out. So has World Embryo. After that went to Sony to play Guitar Hero III. Before that I totally lost touch. My timing was haywire. Just like losing the embrouchure when playing the flute... After watching people play for almost an hour I decided to play... And lost in the battle with Lou, even when my rock metre was still high. I lost by a death something. Tried again and won. Yay! Then tried Slow Ride on Medium mode. I got the highest sia. Haha.

Good Friday

I started my Good Friday by reading 'My Balls'. Yes. My Balls. Haha. That was about 12.30 in the morning. Just finished watching Monster and dealing with the stupid anti-virus which has been scanning for the past 4 hours. Should have gotten Norton.

After I woke up, I continued watching Fate/Stay Night, on youtube, cos some episodes got removed in just 1 day on veoh. Hope they put it back. So managed to watch 1 episode. Then my family forced me to go church again. The service was like 10.30 till 12.43. 2hrs 13mins. WOT. I feel the judgement about Judas is quite biased. Its only based on the facts as told by the other apostles. There wasn't the Judas side of the story, which was burnt. But without Judas, the crucifixion would not have taken place, the plan would not be complete. In other words, the betrayal of Judas was already planned by God and cannot be definitely called a betrayal. He was just following the will. Not going to say more about this...

My Nasi Lemak turned cold... Haha. I'm gonna say something random for every post I'm doing from now on... Unless I'm emo. Oh ya. I've just watched the news. They say 2 guys created a Mas Selamat Facebook. Now they are selling Mas Selamat T-shirts. Lol.

Dunno whether Innoform is gonna bring the next Evangelion movie, Evangelion: 2.0 Division, to Singapore. Cos they cut the 2nd movie preview, which was supposed to be played after the end of the first movie. This may mean that they do not intend to bring the second movie to our shores and not create false hope. Scary. Really hope they show it in Singapore. I estimate if the next movie is shown in Singapore, it should be at the end of this year. I'm still not happy that they cut the ending theme and replaced it with some stupid ang moh songs. Hope for the best of Evangelion future in Singapore...

The new NERV logo came out for quite a while now... But I only decided to search for it last night... So I slept late... And I couldn't concentrate during Physics today... And since chiat's brother young got transferred to 3A, he came to our class today and slept... Just like me... I was quite emo the whole lesson... Not because Garnish is back... Oh well... Before recess was PE... They kept saying I was the best player... For floorball... Not that I really care... My team lost most of the matches anyways... Cos the goalkeeper of my team kept losing the balls that were passed to him... So in the end my team only won one point... Lost 2-3 points... I think... I blocked the most balls anyways... Kinda top defender in a way... If the teacher hadn't tweaked the game... Haiz... Those playing floorball should know how he tweaked the game... Maths Gregory was emoing... So I emo-ed him back... Chinese was boring as usual... The teacher was using her funny chinese accent again... Morning assembly... M was doing the announcements and stuff... Didn't he know what a mike was?!... He was so loud... Some guys in my class was like... wtf, who is that idiot... You screwed up... Even if you didn't... The religion of the day was Taoism... yay... Mass was fine I guess... At least no out-of-tune choirs, weird bands, hymns and communions... Washing of feet ceremony... Should plant mushrooms in your feet, walk around barefooted for a day, wear shoes and socks without changing them for 3 days, then attend the washing of feet ceremony... It will be a massage... Sorry... Back to the NERV logo...

So now there's an upside-down apple behind the fig leaf, as you can see on the right. I think it supposed to mean: The apple represents the apple that Adam and Eve ate in the garden of Eden. Why it is upside-down? Dunno. Maybe cos it looks nicer? The fig leaf, was there a long time ago, was when Adam and Eve discovered their nakedness and used fig leaves to cover themselves. Cool. Makes sense. Some people do not like the new design, saying it kinda makes it uglier. I slightly agree with it, but it looks cooler with its new look. And if you go to the Evangelion website, the apple will occasionally flash. Nice site. Nicely done.

I'm in a Catholic School. Marist school to be precise. Named after Marcellin Champagnat. Anyways, there is a ridiculous instalment in the recent morning assemblies, especially this week, which is the 1st week of school, as well as... what the Christians call 'Holy Week'. I'm not saying anything wrong about the holy week. I'm trying to bring another point. Since this is an important Christian/Catholic week, why in the world is there an introduction to other religions? Shouldn't there be a better time to do all that? Maybe during Racial Harmony Day? Deepavali? Hari Raya? Vesak Day?!!! So today, Jaya was the one who introduced the religion Hindi! And guess what, according to my mother(Christian), it is wrong to have more than one gods, and that there can only be one god. So why are the Catholics introducing other religions? Wonder why.

Today there was band. CT came back. Yay. If he didn't say my tone improved, I would not have realised. Maybe it because of the change of flute... Nothing much to say anyways. Friday is Good Friday... Means no sectionals. I seriously can't stand my section... Not that I wanna switch sections with other people. They are like so in their own world (autistic is what I call them). I will get the one who is the most 'autistic' to conduct sectionals next time... hahahaha.

Yo. Welcome to my new blog. I dun think I will be changing it again.

Yesterday was the 13th of March. Yeah. In the morning, I went to the clinic for a blood test. My father thought I may have high cholestrol. Also went for a urine test to check for diabetes anyway. The results came out today, I'm A+ blood type. And I'm perfectly fine. Yeah. After that, went to make my IC. The cafeteria was closed down for renovations. That place had a sever lack of food. Seriously. Wonder where people would go for lunch with the cafeteria closed.

Went to Orchard Road. I happened to find out that Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone the movie was showing when I was watching recorded anime that morning. I was soooooo happy. I decided to go on the opening day, which was 13th of March, of course. So many things happened on 13th March. It was also the opening day of many shows, like Step Up 2 and Horton. I decided to call Wang Liang to go with me, cos apparently, he is the only person I know who shares similar interests in Evangelion as me(If you like Evangelion tell me) . Since it was like 3pm, and the show would start at 5, & Wang Liang would be coming about 3.30(in the end came at 3.45... btw, he didn't come for band prac on Wednesday cos he was emo... -_-"). I walked around. BORDERS finally sold Volume 7 of Chobits, but I was broke. Actually I had enough money, but it was my mother's, so I'm an honest guy and would only use MY savings to buy stuff, didn't buy it in the end. Then I walked all the way to HMV. Looked at the Anime OSTs. Saw a Fate/Stay Night OST. Yeah. But didn't buy it, cos I'm broke. The anime there hasn't changed much since I last went last November. Rather pathetic I suppose. Then headed back down to Kinokuniya at Takashimaya. It was the biggest bookshop I have ever seen. Seriously, BORDERS is nothing. And of course, they had the widest range of manga in Singapore, where I found Vol 3, 6 and 8 of Chobits, 3 of the 4 vols of chobits I have not gotten my hands on. Amazing. They even had Galaxy Angel. Actually BORDERS had them too.

Anyways, met Wang Liang and we talked all sorts of things from the MRT to Cathay Orchard. Things like blood tests, injections, evangelion(of course), piccolo, flute section is gonna die, 等等... Arrived a 1 floor below the ticket counter thing. Went into a figurine shop (my idea). They only sold Gundam models. Sad. Wanted to see Evangelion models. What was great was there were Haruhi figurines and many familiar anime figurines which I knew. Then went up. Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone is NC16 btw. (You know how old I am. And apparently, no one remembered my birthday. Wonder if I should remember theirs) The tickets cost $8.50. After we went in we thought we should have gotten student prices at $6. But I shouldn't risk it. After all I wasn't 16+. The theatre was at the 9th floor, the highest apparently. It is mainly a game place up there. There were like many computers, billiards, human sized models of movie monsters. There were also these small rooms. You apparently rent them, and can do anything you like in there. There was like a tv and 2 coms, as well as a nice couch. Cool. Waste of $$$. Then we just talked and waited until we could go in. It was Hall 12.

Not many people in there. Apparently, it is barely publicised, even outside the theatre. No wonder only a handful of people went. The theatre was also the smallest I've ever went. I usually got my tickets free anyways. So this was the first time I bought tickets. Cool. And I got by the ticket girl just fine.

The show is basically a re-run of episodes 1-6 of the series, just that there are different approaches to each incidents, as well as some of the which are exactly the same, including the camera angle. The graphics were highly improved, Eva Unit 01's green stripes were practically glowing, really great. I've got a picture but dun want to upload it here. Some of the Angels got a facelift. Asuka is not included in this instalment. The best use of 3D in the movie was when Tokyo-3 was rising. The effects were breathtaking. Really great.

Overall it was great, even though it got a low rating on Life! Not that I care. His comments were weird. After that we went to the Shaw Tower(?) for dinner. The one with the movie theatres. Had McDonalds. Wang Liang said I ate very fast. That's what usually happens outside. I ate some of his fries too. Later went back home. And guess what, my mother had subscribed to the new internet plan, which was supposed to take effect on Tuesday, but when I went back home, it was done. Sooo happy. Great day. That's why I can blog now. That's all...
